During his studies, he met Mark Dever, Senior Pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church, and moved to Washington, DC to be an intern and serve as Mark’s personal assistant for the next two years. After this time, he moved to Providence, RI and served as Associate Pastor at Grace Harbor Church for the next year and a half. Presently, James serves the flock at Tremont Temple Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor in Boston, MA, with wife Adriana, and their daughter Mercy. James holds a B.A. from Bridgewater State University in Criminal Justice and a Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
