Book Club
Every 4th Sunday at 12:30 at TTBC
The goal of the book club is to grow our knowledge through edifying books and build relationships through discussion and accountability. Books are selected in collaboration between the elders of the church and book club members. We have read a variety of topics and styles of book, sometimes electing to split a book over multiple months to allow for deeper study. We provide light snacks and welcome mothers with children to keep them with us during the meeting or provide space in an adjoining room for them to play. You are welcome to join to see what the book club is like without having read the book, and we never turn anyone away for not finishing the read!
Prayer Meeting
Please join us for a sweet time of lifting our joys, concerns, confessions, and praises before the Lord! Whether you’re new or have been here for years, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your sisters in Christ. We also encourage prayer between meetings through prompts to share praises, requests, and reflections in our group chat and opportunities to pray together virtually during the week.

“Through The Bible” Bible Study
The goal of the class is to study every book of the bible from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible study has been meeting since October 2024, and we currently have 15 to 16 members who attend regularly. The class session generally goes from September to Mid-May. The series we are using is called “Knowing The Bible–A 12 Week Study.” We review one lesson each week, reading the scriptures pertaining to the lesson and answering the questions, with each Bible book taking about three to four months to complete. The study books are purchased by the class host, so there’s no cost to the Saints who take the class. Her only request is that if they don’t intend to attend regularly, please don’t request the book. Copies of the next lesson can be shared with anyone hoping to try out the class. There are two Bible study reminders sent each week: one goes out automatically via a Zoom link to Google Calendar, and the other via email every Wednesday morning. The Bible series we are using has been approved by Pastor Jaime, who is very familiar with the authors of the bible study guides.

Simeon Trust Training
Pastor Jaime invites you to join our Simeon Trust quarterly fellowship. We will consider how to faithfully interpret and teach God's Word. We will begin watching a series of videos called First Principles, followed by a discussion and some exercises. The aim is to grow in our understanding of how to understand and communicate God's Word. Please do not be intimidated! You do not have to have teaching ambitions to join us, but we trust that it will be enriching for us all. Please do bring some lunch/snacks if you would like.
